Sarah Gives Away a Wii™ and a Wii Fit™ Plus

This is super awesome. You can win a Wii™ system and a Wii Fit™ Plus game! Right here, on my review site!

That's right. You heard me. I have been selected as a Nintendo Enthusiast and received this Wii console and Wii Fit Plus game (including balance board) from Nintendo to give away.

Simply leave a comment in the comment section on this post that answers the question “How would you fit some fit in with Wii Fit Plus from Nintendo”? (Also acceptable How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?)

Entries will be accepted until April 29, 2010 at 11.59pm.

Legal Disclaimers: You cannot win if you are in my immediate family. This means you, Mom.

You must be over 18 and be a resident of the United States. Sorry Canada. Sorry everyone else. You cannot win if you are a Nintendo employee.

There will be no disputing the drawing. It will be honest. The winner is final.

FTC Disclaimer: I did not buy the Wii console or the Wii Fit Plus game, in fact they will be sent to you directly via Brand About Town if you win. I did however get a Wii Fit Plus game, a Wii Fit Plus Party and a jacket for free. I also got a DSi, but don't tell my children.

Nintendo is providing the Wii system and the Wii Fit Plus game and the prizes will be sent directly to the winner. I’m just hosting the giveaway on my site.

I will have The Goon Squad draw a name out of a hat on April 30, 2010. The winner will be notified by email and the prize will be sent in 2 - 4 weeks.

I would do it when the baby is napping! Sounds like so much fun!

we have a lot of fun when we play the Wii's that everyone else got for Christmas! If our family had one I'd use it daily. My daughter loves to play the games and I'd like to explore the strength training and yoga aspects of the systme.

I'm doing pretty well with the gym, but I'd love something fun for home- plus, getting the boys involved would be superbly awesome. I may not have let sleep trump working out like I did this morning (first time all week, though!) if I could just go downstairs and kick butt on my Wii Fit Plus.

About the woodchuck thing? Check
here

I've heard the Wii Fit Plus is fantastic. I have the Wii Fit & my kids love to challenge me on the snowboarding (I suck) and the soccer ball thing (I duck, I'm scared of those stupid flying panda heads). Hope you find this good for a laugh, if not for an entry.

Suz said...

And since that link didn't work, try this one. I swear, I feed my kids. Occasionally.

shiny said...

I would fit this in between the 150 flights I climb on the stairmaster and the 300 sit-ups I do every night.

However, I may not be quite up to 300 yet. And I don't have a stairmaster. So the Wii Fit Plus will likely overshadow the two ends of my exercise sandwich.

(Thanks for the giveaway!)

I'm sorry to tell you but I would fit a Wii fit in by reading less blogs and exercising more.

Maybe if I had a Wii Fit Plus, I would be able to fit some fit in after my twins go to sleep, but still say inside the house. Because you're not supposed to leave babies alone in the house or something. Haha!

The Wii Fit Plus is just what I need to “fit some fit in”; I especially would love to use the yoga features in the privacy of my own home whenever I can squeeze out a few minutes. Gyms and stuff don’t work because something always comes up at the wrong time. At home I could fit in the time around everything else. Plus I am too shy and too embarrassed to do most of those things in public (some of those positions are a whole new level of embarrassing). Also what if my underwear lost its elastic at just the wrong time??? Seriously Sarah you gave me a whole new fear right there, I had never even thought of that possibility! So please, please, please choose me!!

I would love to win a Wii and Wii Fit. #1.. we gave our Wii and Wii fit to my stepson to take to his mom's house.. leaving MP w/ none.. I want to get my fat ass in shape since I'm going on vacation with the inlaws in May. Exercising in doors when it's too hot or raining will be a bonus!

Ok I don't have ay of that stuff for posting my info - I am anonymous above

I'm super competitive against my husband, so we'd battle it out with the Wii Fit Plus!

Unknown said...

Wii Fit would be great. Exercise with a game, is that even aloud? Since the weather here can't decide what it's going to do, exercise indoors would help.

Abby said...

Wii Fit = working out at home = I don't have to wear pants.

Sharon Rosen said...

I would LOVE to win this. But really because I would gift this to my parents! My dad thinks the Wii is the next best thing to sliced bread... It's one of those things they would never ever buy for themselves (but just try and get them away from ours)!

Btw, I posted this too :)

Cassie said...

What a great way to exercise, I've heard so many positive things about this system and game! I would LOVE to win!

FishyGirl said...

Oh, I like the comment about not having to wear pants! I could exercise here in the house and wouldn't miss all the time when the kids are sick or I can't get a sitter, like with the unused gym membership.

Suzan Hyssen said...

I would fit a big fat bag of Wii Fit into my day . . . I have 3 weddings, 3 showers, and an engagement party in the next 6 months and I really should start building my stamina!

Chuck Foxtrot said...

I last hit the gym in the mid 90s, so it might be time for another shot at it -- after the kids are asleep so they don't know that we have a game system int he house...

Adrianne Hamilton said...

My husband promised me a wii fit three years ago for my bday but then renegged. I have been losing weight on my own this year while the kids are at school. When summer comes I won't have that free time out of the house but I could use wii fit/ fit plus in the morning while they are all sleeping in.

Paige Jennifer said...

I would Wii Fit in the morning
I would Wii Fit in the night
I would Wii Fit my (not so little) ass off
Until it was tiny and tight

Stephanie said...

Ooh, I would love to win this. And I'm pretty sure my son would really be into it too (and he could burn off some of that extra energy)!
Thanks

Lori said...

I work 12+ hours a day and have an infant-any exercise happens late at night.

rachelopoly said...

Yes! I'd love to win this! I would exercise without leaving the house. Sometimes that drive to the gym seems awfully long.

Catkins said...

I agree, sometimes that drive is pretty far! Plus, you have to pick out workout songs and download them to your ipod, and wear something that's flattering (even though you're at the GYM! Where people SWEAT! And are generally not kept up). Seriously, I probably take more time to pick out what I'm going to WEAR at the gym than I actually spend at the gym!
So yes, if I could play and exercise at the same time, in my own house?! I'd be set!

Erica Voorhees said...

I would fit it right between the DVD and VCR.

AmyNaab said...

Wii fit is great! I would love to have one!

Lumpyheadsmom said...

I'm entering for my dad (is that kosher?) who would use it to have a regular Wednesday bowling night again.

He would also then have a bit of a clue as to what the hell my son is talking about all the damn time...

smartaleck said...

I am in law school ("part time program"--it's not as easy as those words make it sound) and work 25 or so hours a week. I love to go walking at night for exercise and stress relief, but live in a very rainy city.

I would definitely use the yoga program and be a much easier person to deal with--and relearn what it means to be flexible.

My fiance' would be so grateful that he would have a statue put up in your honor--or send you somewhere warmer all next winter so you never have to see snow except on TV!

Kathy said...

I would love to win this... I'm expecting a baby and will definitely need some help getting back to my pre-pregnancy weight and a Wii and Wii fit would be AWESOME!

smartaleck said...

did I mention that working out clears my mind and makes me answer questions properly?

smartaleck can be contacted at the same email address she uses for Sarah and the Goon Squad's main website--quick email to follow from there.

BIYF said...

I would play it in a boat!
And I would play it with a goat...

And I will play it in the rain.
And in the dark. And on a train.
And in a car. And in a tree.
It is so fun, so fun, you see!

So I will play it in a box.
And I will play it with a fox.
And I will play it in a house.
And I will play it with a mouse.
And I will play it here and there.
Say! I will play it ANYWHERE!

S said...

I would fit Wii fit in every evening while listening to Royals games until I can fit back into my skinny jeans.

Unknown said...

I would love to win this Wii Fit! That way I all I wouldn't do is sit! I would actually get off my big butt, while playing Mini Putt!

Stacey said...

Video Games and Fitness...well it just doesn't get anymore fun than that.

Plus I don't have to leave home and be away from my kids any longer than needed which is a plus since I work outside of the home.

Since Pong was the last game and console I owned,

http://www.classicgamesarcade.com/game/21599/Pong-arcade-game.html

I think I might be able to squeeze in some fitness on a Wii Fit from Nintendo ANYTIME!

Maybe I could also sit with the cool kids at lunch?

Yaniv said...

It has been conclusively determined by rigorous, double-blind studies, that a woodchuck would chuck exactly one quarter cord of wood, if a woodchuck could, in fact, chuck wood.

After chucking that quarter cord, he would then instantly die of exhaustion.

So it's not really that they can or cannot do it, it's more than they know better than to try.

Therese said...

I have been coveting this for a while now but can't seem to bite the bullett and make a purchase. I would love to win it. I have a new (is 10 months still considered new?) baby and am looking for more creative ways to exercise at home, this is perfect.

Dianne said...

Well with a 15 month and another one on the way (in 3 months), I don't really see myself getting back into my YMCA routine any time soon. I would absolutely love a wii fit for my home.

I could use it when the peanuts took a nap in the day or even after they go to bed. Plus, it looks so fun, I bet I could cajole my hubs to do it with me. I'm sure with the stress of a newborn, we're going to need a few laughs and I'm sure my uncoordinated self could provide said laughs!!

girlvaughn said...

My brain is exploding a little from "fit some fit" so clearly I need to win a WII in order to understand what this even means. And maybe I need to exercise more.

Alison said...

I would love to win this. I am waiting to get a Wii next Christmas. If I had it now, I would actually work out--now that I am working full-time, I can't seem to drag myself to the gym (or even outside, lazy me!)

cindy said...

After the 3 kids were in bed - hubby and I would wii fit together! we have a 5 y/o and twin 2 year olds. we decided we were finally going to buy a wii /wii fit with the money we saved from quitting smoking (gross habit finally gone for good, yay!). then the washing machine broke. then the garage door broke. what's next? No wii for us in the near future.

Alison said...

I would use Wii Fit with my kids, which would have to be more fun than trying to do Pilates with my kids. They mostly think anything that puts Mommy on the floor is an opportunity to jump and hug and squirm on top of Mommy.

Meg McCormick said...

It would be awesome because I could fight with my kids over who gets the Fit next! Because we are always looking for the next thing to fight about. And then I can revoke their Fit privileges and have it all to myself, because that's fun, too.

Oh wait, that was a story about my night last night. Except it wasn't the Wii Fit, it was the big TV and an xBox 360.

Anyway, if it gets me off my butt and motivates me to start exercising, that would be the bomb-diggety. So pick me, K? Thanks.

Michele said...

Oh gosh have I been eyeing this. I would do it the minute the door hits my sons ass in the morning before I get started with work. Also? A woodchuck would chuck a lot of wood if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

michelle s. said...

Would love to have something that Gabriel and I can do together and get fit at the same time!

Erin said...

The Wii Fit Plus is just what I need to “fit some fit in”; I can neither find the time nor afford a gym, and I need a fun game to get me off my booty.

ListenToLeon.net said...

I've been looking for a way to get motivated for morning workouts along with my evening ones, so fitting some fit in on the Wii Fit Plus just might do the trick.

As far as the woodchuck question, I think it would chuck a few pieces of wood before getting bored and asking to come over to my house to play on the brand new Wii that I might win for the price of FREE NINETY-NINE!!!

Aubrie said...

I would use it while my husband is away at basic training so we can both look good when he gets back!

Anonymous said...

How would I fit in a FIT? With extra Crisco, of course. Because Florence Henderson told me to.

Kristen said...

I would use it with my boys -- exercise and fun for the whole family.

I would love to be able to do something fun at home! Something I can do with the kids, any time of the day, no matter the weather.

I have about 45 minutes free every morning if I get up when the alarm goes off instead of repeatedly hitting snooze. If I win? I will disable the snooze!

Jenni said...

A woodchuck would chuck a lot of wood, if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

I would make my husband bathe the boys BY HIMSELF so I could get my fit time in.

anthy said...

I would get up super early in the morning (6:30 AM!) so I could exercise with Wii Fit before going to work. Only part of the day when I'm not working and not exhausted. :-)

Want. I would find some fit because it is either freezing and snowing, or extremely windy, or about to become to freakin' hot to do anything outside. And yes, I've talked myself out of running every day for the past week for one of those reasons. I need a Wii and Wii Fit Plus!

LoriH said...

I have recently discovered that I am a temperature diva. I have a narrow range of acceptably comfortable temperatures. Winter has lasted way too long. I am sure by April 30th summer will be here. Wii fit would help me workout in the perfect temperature of my house.

I would use the Wii Fit between writing contest entries to win MORE Wii FITS!!!

All I do nowadays is enter contests to win Wiis. So, if I am going to work out it will have to be when I'm not entering a contest.

7:45-8:00pm, every Wednesday, like clockwork.

Also, do you really mean that this contest runs until April 29th (over a month)? Or is it only until March 29th?

See, who's looking out for you?

Stacy said...

I would do Yoga on the Wii Fit...I took a class and loved it, but can't afford to continuously take classes.

You are drawing names on my twins' birthday - does that count for anything?

Mama said...

I would do the yoga at 2am when I can't sleep.

My 7yr old boy does the yoga at school for his breaks (he has Aspergers) and he's been begging me to get it for at home. I told him I would try so I'm keeping my finners crossed (that's what my kids say)

We live in the frozen North (oh, all right: it's just northern Minnesota)...and so many days of the year, it's too forbidding to exercise out of doors. Currently, I run year 'round, but the frostbite is slowly eating away at any remaining healthy skin I have. Thus, the opportunity to exercise inside and thereby retain my nose and toes would be AMAZING.

Plus, I have two kids, and since they attend a public school and are often fed the crap served there for hot lunches, they can use all the body moving we can provide.

OH MAN, I would love a Wii Fit. Alas, not in the budget right now since we have a new baby. But of course now I need it more than ever because of what the new baby did to my thighs. ;)

I would challenge my husband, and he is totally competitive and would have to say yes. Loser has to carry Ian around (and at 25 pounds, carrying him is yet another way to fit in some fit).

Also, Chris wanted to know if he could use logarithms. I'm not sure what it means, but I think it has to do with woodchucks.

This would be so amazing to win! I would fit some Wii into my life in every way possible. I might even use it in the shower! Okay...not the shower, but while I'm showering I'll play Wii in my head. Then when I get out I'll use it for real. This would be so awesome to win because I am trying to exercise more and eat healthier and this would give me HUGE inspiration to do so. Also, my mom is disabled and can't always leave home to get out and move and exercise, the Wii would be perfect for her to slowly start to get healthy all from home! Thanks so much for this great chance to win! Please choose Mii for the Wii.
